Welcome!
31st Challenge for
Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
Week of 09-15 through 09-22-2015
I'm sorry for submitting this post three times but I don't think it is going out to all the participants that it should be going to. This is my last attempt at making sure everyone is getting it.
Guide for Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
1. A prompt photo will be provided each Tuesday to be used as a base to your story. Please include photo prompt with your story.
2. Linking for this challenge begins on Tuesday and runs to the following Tuesday.
3. Please credit photo to photographer
4. The story word limit is 100 – 150 words (+ – 25 words). Please try and stay within this limit.
5. Pingback to the challenge post in your story's post.
6. This is a flash fiction challenge (stories in 100-175 words or less) and each story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Therefore, no serial (continuation) stories. They become too complicated for our readers.
7. Add your story to the InLinkz Link-up (Blue Froggy button). If you need link-up instructions, please email me at mepricelessjoy@gmail.com.
8. Remember, half the fun is reading and commenting on each other's stories.
HAVE FUN !!

Thank you Tessa. It’s not the U.S. people I’m concerned about getting it, it’s Australia, the UK, and Europe. For some reason, they don’t seem to be getting it. WordPress must be having problems outside of the U.S.

This is the 1st time I received it. One never knows how many times to do something. Hope I can get a good one out to you again.

I don’t know what’s going on with WordPress, but I could tell it wasn’t getting out to the participants. I hope by sending it 3 times it made it to all the followers of the blog. It gets so aggravating! I would love to read your story so I hope you will be able to write one.

I’m going to try and one write. I’m having a little trouble with WP too. I had 1783 followers last week this week I have 1598. WTF … excuse my language. But, that is depressing. Let’s hope they get their kinks out and their panties unknotted. LOLOL

Wow, that is a big difference! I would be upset over that too. I thought they were just giving me a hard time because I use Blogsy to publish my posts on WordPress. I still don’t think everyone got my Challenge post, in fact, I’m sure they didn’t.

Thanks! I appreciate that, but before I send it out again, I will get in touch with WordPress. I just wrote to one of the participants in Australia and asked him if he got it. I’ll wait and see what he says.

[…] I see horses and hats and my mind immediately leaps to Westerns, one of the best (and sadly almost extinct) film genres. Naturally, that was the sort of feel I tried to convey in my story for this week’s Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers. The original prompt can be found here. […]
