Welcome to the website for the Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers Challenge!
This is a weekly Photo Prompt Challenge of 150 words or less. (+-) 25 words
1. Each week, a photo will be supplied and participants are to use this photo as a base for their stories, for a maximum word length of 150 words or less. (+-) 25 words.
2. This challenge will run from Wednesday to Wednesday, and you may add your story anytime during these specific days.
3. Your story should have the photo prompt attached.
4. Indicate on your story the number of words in your story.
5. Please tag your story with: Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers (This step is important).
6. Add your story’s url to this website’s comments. (In time I will provide an InLinkz link-up). (This step is also important so I will know who has participated).
7. The first Photo Prompt will be provided on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 and all stories are due in by Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
8. If you are interested in participating in this challenge, please follow this blogsite and receive instant email notifications.
9. The main purpose of this challenge is to have fun and learn. Those who are able to mentor and help others grow in their writing, you are encouraged to do so. All constructive feedback should be communicated in a kind and helpful manner AND received in a welcoming manner.
10. WELCOME AND HAVE FUN!

Hi Priceless Joy! I accidentally deleted your reply on my page, I’m so sorry to hear the FFFAW will be “closing”. How can I find out about your new challenge? Also, thank you so much for your kind words about my story, Balloon Man 🙂

The challenge runs for a week. It opens on a Tuesday morning and closes the following Tuesday evening. When one week closes, a new week opens. In a few minutes I will be sending out the new post for this week’s challenge. InLinkz (where we link our stories to) is open for the week that we are writing our stories. When one week ends, that particular InLinkz grid closes and the new InLinkz grid opens. Does this make sense?

Dawn, I am checking into InLinkZ now to get the Frog and ability to link everyone. Yes, I will accept challenge photos and you can send them to me at mepricelessjoy@gmail.com. I can’t guarantee you they will all be used, are you okay with that?

I look forward to you participating. Did you follow the blog? I think some people are afraid to follow thinking there will be a lot of posts, but there won’t be. Only 1 post per week of the challenge. The follow button are on the bottom of the page on this blog’s theme. To get the challenges you need to follow the blog and make sure you get instant emails. Like I said, only 1 per week and that will be the challenge itself.

Although I participate in two 100 word writing programs (Mondays Finish the Story and Friday Fictioneers) I would like to join this one, too. Sometimes I need a few more words and 150 sounds wonderful. Good luck with your venture.

Hey good morning Priceless Joy, I saw the photo challenge and I will attempt to navigate the link after a walk and bike to photograph some flowers.

Okay. I’m going to delete your link because I don’t see a story written for Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers. I hope you will write a story for the challenge (the photo prompt is a picture of an aquarium). And when you do, link that story to InLinkz. Thank you!

I sorry for the mix up and I will complete the photo challenge after the morning photo 101 challenge. Thanks for the help!
