101st Challenge
Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
Week of 02-07 through 02-13-2017
Thank you Mike Vore for our photo prompt this week!
This week's photo prompt is provided by Mike Vore.
Guide for Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
1. A prompt photo will be provided each Tuesday to be used as a base to your story. Please include photo prompt with your story.
2. Linking for this challenge begins on Tuesday and runs to the following Monday evening.
3. Please credit photo to photographer.
4. The story word limit is 100 – 150 words (+ – 25 words). Please try and stay within this limit.
5. Pingback to the challenge post in your story's post.
6. This is a flash fiction challenge (stories in 100-175 words or less) and each story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Therefore, no serial (continuation) stories. They become too complicated for our readers.
7. Add your story to the InLinkz Link-up (Blue Froggy button). Please let me know if you need link-up instructions.
8. Please keep stories below R rating.
9. Please respect the diversity of our readers and writers in regard to race, religion, and life style choice when writing your stories.
10. Remember, half the fun is reading and commenting on each other's stories.

Just curious. Has anyone ever written more than one story based on a single prompt, and is it specifically against the rules to do so? Thanks.

I don’t allow continuation stories on the challenge because it is too hard for our readers to keep up with them.

That’s not to say that you can’t write a continuation story that is also a stand alone story.

I wasn’t thinking of a continuation story, but a completely different stand-alone tale. Coming at the photo prompt from an entirely new direction. Just a thought. It’s OK if it’s not allowed. I was just curious.

You can have two different stories for the same prompt, if that is what you are asking.

OK, thanks.

I have read so many posts concerning the blogger lovers
except this paragraph is actually a fastidious piece of writing, keep it
up.

I just read your story from the InLinkz Story Board so it linked up just fine. When I read your other comment I hadn’t seen your link up and I wasn’t sure what you were talking about not working right.
