Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
Week of 07-01 thru 07-07-2015
PLEASE READ
Several people have contacted me regarding the continuation of stories and how this is not only difficult to keep up with, especially when more than a few people are doing it, but it also discourages new people from following and reading our stories and blogs. So, I am asking participants to stop doing serial (continuation) stories. If you are writing a serial story, please try and wrap it up by the end of this month but definitely by the end of the week ending July 8.
As Rochelle explains in her challenge, Friday Fictioneers, stories should have a beginning, a middle, and an end in (100-175) words or less. Thank you for your understanding.

This week’s photo prompt is kindly provided by Dawn M. Miller. Thank you Dawn.
The following information will continue to be posted for new participants.
Guide for Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
1. A prompt photo will be provided each Tuesday to be used as a base to your story. Please include photo prompt with your story.
2. The challenge will run from Wednesday to Wednesday (linking will be Tuesday to Tuesday)
3. Please credit photo to photographer
4. The story word limit will be 100 – 150 words (+ – 25 words). Please try and stay within this limit.
5. Pingback to the challenge post in your story’s post.
6. This is a flash fiction challenge (stories in 100-150 words or less +- 25 either way) and each story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Therefore, no serial (continuation) stories.
7. Add your story to the InLinkz Link-up (Blue Froggy button). If you need link-up instructions, please email me at mepricelessjoy@gmail.com.

Something new to work on this afternoon–thanks! Couple questions: can we use the black and white (moon & stars) “button/badge” in a widget to show we’re planning to be regular participants? And do I call you JOY, or not? Thanks, Dell

Yes, you can use the black & white badge for FFfAW and put it on your blog. You may call me PJ (that’s what most people call me). I’m happy to hear you will be a regular participant!
