Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
Week of 06-24 thru 06-30-2015
PLEASE READ
Several people have contacted me regarding the continuation of stories and how this is not only difficult to keep up with, especially when more than a few people are doing it, but it also discourages new people from following and reading our stories and blogs. So, I am asking participants to stop doing serial (continuation) stories. If you are writing a serial story, please try and wrap it up by the end of this month but definitely by the end of the week ending July 8.
As Rochelle explains in her challenge, Friday Fictioneers, flash fiction stories should have a beginning, a middle, and an end, using (100-175) words or less. Thank you for your understanding.

This week’s photo prompt is provided by Sonya O. Thank you Sonya!
The following information will continue to be posted for new participants.
Guide for Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
1. A prompt photo will be provided each Tuesday to be used as a base to your story. Please include photo prompt with your story.
2. The challenge will run from Wednesday to Wednesday (linking will be Tuesday to Tuesday)
3. Please credit photo to photographer
4. The story word limit will be 100 – 150 words (+ – 25 words). Please try and stay within this limit.
5. Pingback to the challenge post in your story’s post.
6. This is a flash fiction challenge (stories in 100-175 words or less) and each story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Therefore, no serial (continuation) stories. They become too complicated for some readers.
7. Add your story to the InLinkz Link-up (Blue Froggy button). If you need link-up instructions, please email me at mepricelessjoy@gmail.com.

For not using the FFfAW for follow up stories. Isn’t that what you meant?

Yes. There will be no more continuations on FFfAW after the week of July 8. I’m giving people time to finish up their continuations.

May I do my story in poetry form, as long as I keep to word limit? I’ve never been here before, and this prompt “grabbed” me!
