Welcome to the seventh challenge for Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers!
This week I am presenting two prompt photos. You may choose one photo or both photos. You may write one story or several stories. It’s completely up to you. (If you like having several prompt photos for one challenge, then there will be more challenges like this in the future).
Thank you for your participating and for being the reason this challenge is a success. Keep coming back!
If you are a new participant to Flash Fiction to Aspiring Writers, WELCOME! We are happy you are with us and hope you have FUN!
A special thank you to the established and professional writers who have joined our flash fiction group to participate, have fun and be our mentors.
Please indicate on your post IF YOU DO NOT WANT CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK.
Thank you to pixabay.com (free to use photographs) for this week’s prompt photos.

Depending on where you live, the link won’t open up until tomorrow at 12:00 noon New York City Time. (5:00 pm London time) Sorry to confuse you. I sent out the challenge prompt early since I had 2 photo prompts on it this time.

Good Morning 🙂 The brain is a ticking! Hmm…maybe something dark will emerge.. I like that the two pictures relate, the second giving extra room to play with. I’m looking forward to everyone’s story of these! 🙂

Aha…I get it.. The linky frog will be available from 5pm London time… that gives me some extra time! Funnily enough I’m not creeped out by the clown, but I know it’s a phobia for some. On second thoughts, I’m going to leave my thoughts open on what genre to go down on this as it can go in many directions… Hmm… 🙂

Me neither… Maybe we both would be put off clowns forever too!

If I saw a scarey/creepy show about them then I am sure I would be creeped out at them too. Thankfully, I haven’t.

[…] Photo Credit: pixabay.com ('free to use' photographs) This story is my submission for Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers Weekly Writing Challenge. We are challenged to write a story using 100-175 words based on the photo that we are given. I hope you enjoy my story. Where I live, the rodeos use clowns as a means to distract the bulls away from the riders when the bull riders are bucked off the bull. It is a highly dangerous job and the clowns generally do a fantastic job protecting the cowboys from the raging bulls. Everyone is invited to participate in this weekly challenge. Ohhh!!! Those pictures! So colorful. I haven’t read the Stephen King book either 😛 I’m hoping to get something up this evening or early tomorrow morning. You’re so wonderful to host this for us, PJ.
I’m hoping to be back in full force this week. I’ve been resting more and trying to relax. I feel badly that I couldn’t get to very many stories these past two weeks 😦
